Congratulations to Matt for the gig.

This is great news. I thought of this character as a little funny while still being serious and Matt is, with Gail Simone, the best writer for that kind of stuff.

Sturges Spins a New "Web" article at Comic Book Resources.

I have to admit, it was a surprise to see the writer change so quickly. The first issue was excellent, but it can only get better.

Please, Please, Please keep the awesome Roger Robinson on board too.

Congratz Matthew on the new series! You do have big shoes to fill tho! Angela Robinson is doing a great job with The Web, and I hate to see her go!!! I wonder what's up with that :(

Her run is great and I don't understand the change really?!? At least she is being replaced with one of my favorite writers tho...I just hope the series follows Angela's awesome lead and keeps the theme and feelings the same. I always hate when a good setup changes and this time soo fast. Anyways, I am a fan of The Web and will cont to buy the book going forward. You do great work, Matthew and I'm sure The Web will be no different.

Do you want to know the exact moment my life truly got weird? It was the time I met my first talking monkey.

I'm so proud of you I could drop kick an innocent little puppy.

Matt has big shoes to fill because The Web is an awesome book under the pen of Angela Robinson! I read #3 last night and loved the issue big time. I know Matt will do a good job and I hope it's on the same level of JSA All-Stars #1 which was a great start to the new series. Let's see what he offers in 3 more issues in Feb 2010.
